BGL Insurance Launches New ‘Emerging Leaders’ Graduate Programme

BGL Insurance, major local employer and leading digital distributor of personal lines insurance, has this week unveiled its new ‘Emerging Leaders’ Graduate Programme. The new two to three year scheme, will see recruits taking up commercial management roles across the business, with opportunities to 

gain valuable ‘on the job’ experience via several six to eight month placements. During the programme, candidates will also study towards a professional Level 4 insurance qualification (CII), while working on a business-critical project. 

Emerging Leaders forms part of the award winning BGL Insurance Academy, which aims to provide career opportunities for school leavers, right through to postgraduate apprenticeships for senior managers. Since the launch of the BGL Academy in 2017, over 350 apprentices and over 50 Graduates have taken up new roles and qualifications across multiple business areas including Customer Services, Marketing, IT and Finance. While BGL Insurance has, in the past, operated successful graduate schemes, particularly in Marketing, this is the first time its programme will focus on broader commercial management, offering placements across a range of business areas.
